Summary
R404A is a colorless gas under ordinary temperature, and a colorless & transparent liquid under the pressure of itself, mixed by HFC-125, HFC-134a and HFC-143. It is a long-term substitute for R502, mainly used in the refrigerating systems of low & moderate temperature. R404A is a non-flammable refrigerant (Safety Class A1). R404A is used in applications for the operation of cold storage rooms, refrigerated counters, refrigerated display cases, ice-cream and ice-making machines, water refrigerators and refrigerated transport. Ecologically, R404A is a gas featuring high GWP (3922) and zero ODP.
