Every employee has a fundamental right to feel safe at work. CTS Gulf is fully committed to following legal standards and creating an entirely hazard-free workplace.

Policy Scope

This Occupational / Workplace Health and Safety Policy applies to all prospective and current employees of CTS Gulf Company, as well as all contractors and visitors across our sites.

Preventative Action

Any action we take to avoid injuries or illness related to workplace conditions through periodic risk assessments and job hazard analysis.

Potential Threats & Dangerous Situations

Performing tasks on heights, scaffolds, ladders, and other unsteady structures.
Chemical substances (toxic, flammable, etc.).
Operating dangerous heavy equipment.
Slippery or uneven surfaces.
Electrical infrastructure vulnerabilities.
Extreme noise and high temperature environments.
Compromised air quality.

Mandatory Preventative Measures

Provision of safety nets and ropes for dangerous locations.
Obligatory protective gear (gloves, helmet, safety shoes, uniforms, goggles).
Regular infrastructure and equipment inspection by QC employees.
Continuous training sessions in health & safety standards.
Highly dangerous job tasks require at least two employees to be present.
Time limits on exposure to harsh chemicals and radiation.
Mandatory caution signs during repairs or site cleaning.
Strict prohibition of smoking indoors.

Emergency Management

Our structured plan to deal with sudden catastrophes like fire, flood, earthquake, or explosions whether caused by human error or natural forces.

Emergency Provisions

Functional smoke alarms and sprinklers regularly inspected by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Technicians (external or internal) available to quickly repair leakages, damages, and blackouts.

Easily accessible fire extinguishers and specialized protection equipment.

An evacuation plan clearly posted on the walls of each floor and online.

Fire escapes and safety exits that are highly indicated, unblocked, and safe.

Fully-stocked first-aid kits deployed at convenient locations.

Continuous Improvement

Additional Measures & Legislation

Updating our policy according to changes in occupational health legislation.
Using incentive actions (e.g., presenting safe employee awards).
Analyzing past incidents rigorously to discover what went wrong.
Establishing fast, clear procedures for accident reporting.
Constantly revising work procedures to make them inherently safer.
